On Aug 20th, I wrote this post, but never got around to posting it:
Sorry, for the lack of posts this month. There has been lots things happening around our home this summer, and sitting at the computer blogging isn't high on my priority list. The girls were doing a few weeks of summer camps in Burnaby with some friends, since then Layla has been involved in a few full day camps in Coquitlam, and Adelyn did a week of soccer camp, and now Layla is in another full day camp to get ready for Kindergarten.

The summer has been filled with lots of icy cold treats. Here are the pictures to prove it.

| A thumbs up for Mya feeding herself |
The biggest change is Mya. She started crawling forwards, and she is in everything! As soon as Len set up our new TV, Mya was at the TV stand pulling out the keyboard and pounding on it. She likes to check out things that she's not suppose to touch, shoes, cords, window blinds, game controllers, tv remotes, you name it! Her hands and feet are very busy.
With Mya approaching 11 months, here are some things that I should note.
Mya has learned to chew, so we can offer her food with textures! Yay! It took her awhile, but she has learned how to use her tongue to push the food forward so that her two little teeth can chew. Sometimes, the food pops out, but she enjoys the new tastes. She enjoys congee (finally!), cereal puffs, small pieces of fruit or steamed vegetables, bread, and yogurt.
Mya is also holding her own bottle. It took some training, but she now knows how to feed herself milk.
And her newest change, bangs! Yup, I gave her a new look.
