November News

November is here, the weather is wet, and the feeling of Christmas is slowly creeping up.  Nothing is up at our house yet, but the girls are revved up that the holidays are approaching.  A few thing have happened recently this month.  Here's a mid-month update.

Someone in our family got glasses...

So stylish!

Addy and Mya

Adelyn's glasses are for farsightedness, she loved the animal print on the frames, and decided, those were the one!  Hopefully, her eyes will improve, and she will grow out of them.  Right now, she looks super cute in them, don't you agree?

And here is Mya, getting into trouble...

Caught in the act!

Mya's teeth are slowly coming in, she now has four on the bottom, and two up top.

Mya isn't walking yet, but she is very good at balancing.  She will stand up, and let go for longer periods of time.  No signs of the first step yet.

Celebrating a birthday...
Happy Birthday Kow Foo Brian!
Last week, the girls got sick and stayed home from school.  Over the weekend, it was Mya's turn.  Fevers, coughs, runny noses, and sleepless nights...  Stay healthy everyone!

My Little Witchies

This Halloween season the girls were revved up to be witches.  Layla had the idea of being a witch, and was really excited to paint her face green.  Adelyn was going to be a princess, and when I showed her the costumes, she said she wanted to be a witch like her sister.  Luckily, I knew that might happen, and had a back-up witch costume on-hand.

Here are the pictures of the girls of the girls in their magical outfits...

Mya wore a Happy Halloween shirt, but it's covered up

On Monday, after swimming lessons, the big event of carving all the pumpkins began.

On Halloween Day, the activities were endless!   Both girls had parties at school, and Layla even had a costume parade.  What fun! After school, the girls went trick or treating at Lougheed Mall, and came home to an early dinner, before heading out into the neighbourhood.

Definitely a fun night, still smiling!

What's all the fuss about?!?!?

Mya still trying to touch (the girls filled two bags!)

As we take down our Halloween decorations, and put away the costumes, we're pretty sad that all the fun is over...  a feeling that can be cured with some... Halloween candy!  Hope you had a good one!
