Mya at 4 Months

Mya, Mya, Mya, where has the time gone?  Now you are doing so many new things that make our hearts melt.

You have grown so tall!  One day, you were in 3 months clothes, the next day you are in 6 months!  Time to purge all your baby clothes again.

You love to use your legs to express yourself.  To get our attention, you will pound them into the crib, making everything rattle, and cry at the top of your lungs.

You always get compliments on your naturally crazy hair.  Whether we are grocery shopping, at the mall, school, or out and about, someone always makes a comment.  We love it!

You are very vocal now.  You like to chat, and your favourite sound is "ah-goo."  You are the most talkative around 10-11 pm.  You give us lots of smiles, chuckles, and songs, and when you are angry, you like to scream and yell.

Bibs are required all the time, and if we forget, your clothes become a wet mess. You are like to blow bubbles a lot, and you are always drooling.  You also seem to spit up more than your sisters.

Your hands are still interesting to you.  You are trying to figure out how to control them, so you swat, and try to grab objects.  You still like to admire your fingers, and you seem to look at your toes with amazement too.  We like it when you try to hold your own bottle, maybe you can hold it all by yourself soon.

Bath time is still a struggle.  You are calm in the water, but once we pull the towel out, you just know, and the crying begins.  But if it calms you, or tires you out for a longer night of sleep, we don't mind.

Out of the bath

Bedtime is much better.  We can put you down for 6-7 hours, when we cross our fingers.  We also have to make sure that the bed rail is up, you are on the move!  You can spin your body around in the crib.  You are turning onto your side, and won't be long before you will start turning over, and then we'll really have to watch out!

Big hugs and kisses to my little Jellybean!  Love you, Mya!
