Thanksgiving has come and gone, and it's almost Halloween. This year, we didn't host any family dinners at home, we were fortunate enough to have a few turkey dinners with our families at their homes.

This month there were a few illnesses. Mya caught a pretty big cold for a few weeks. Her face was pretty wet with her runny nose and drooling mouth. Now that she's recovered, it's just drool, and her cough is almost gone. The other thing that was sick was our computer. It caught a virus too, so it was out for a few weeks.

We had a few family birthday dinners, and lots of birthday parties to attend this month. And, the holiday the girls are very excited for this month, is coming up fast. Halloween decorations went up before Thanksgiving, and we already had a costume fitting with the two older girls.

The girls have been busy with school, and the pumpkin patch fieldtrips are coming up. And, Mya, well, she has been getting into a lot of things. This month, she has tried eating homemade play dough, exploring the boundaries of "no," and getting more confident with her furniture cruising.

Mya is also more verbal, using a lot of "no's" and "yah's." She also enjoys looking at fish, and animals. She can call fish, 'yee yee' and dog's 'woh woh.'

The mornings have been cold and foggy, and the days feel shorter, fall weather is here. We are so thankful for the rain free days, and hope it holds up for the pumpkin patch and Halloween.
